Five virtues are qualities a sikh must have. These are: 1.) Sat - Honesty 2.) Santokh - Contentment 3.) Daya - Compassion 4.) Nimrata - Humility 5.) Pyar - Love Similarly five evils are evils a sikh must overcome to get mukti, ego or 'I'ness is the root cause of these evils: 1.) Kam - Kust 2.) Krodh - Anger 3.) Lobh - greed 4.) Moh - Attachment 5.) Ahankar - Pride
