False. No Guru ever worshipped any goddesses, gods, or stones after becoming Sikhs. There were two cases when they were Hindus, but they became Sikhs and left their old ways; then they qualified to be Gurus. Some people are wrongly describing the Tenth Guru's writings and claiming he worshipped Durga or Shiva, but they are not telling you that his writings clearly state that 'I do not believe in these gods.' If a Guru is 'worshipping gods,' then he is writing from a poetic point of view and doing justice to his writing. His writings consist of prologues and epilogues that clarify everything. Sri Bhagauti is not Durga, and the Guru also used 'Mata' or 'Mother' for Vaheguru. Some writings are translations or retellings of already existing stories and books, such as Chandi Charitar, which is a retelling of Devi Saptashati from the Markandeya Purana. Another one is Ram Avatar, which is a retelling of the popular epic Ramayana. But in his personal writings, prologues, and epilogues, the Guru says: Akal Ustat - Personal: He is Limitless Entity and hath infinite celestial strain. The goddess Durga takes refuge at His Feet and abides there. The Lord is Primal, Infinite, Accountless, Boundless, Deathless, Garbless, Incomprehensible and Eternal. He created Shiva-Shakti, four Vedas, and three modes of maya and Pervades in three worlds. He created the demons and gods and caused strife between them. O Lord! By creating Durga, Thou hast caused the destruction of demons. Brahma, Shiva, Vishnu, and Indra would ultimately fall in the noose of death. The fool considers Him a stone, but the great fool does not know any secret. Ram Rahim Puran Quran, there are many beliefs; I don't follow any of these.
