Gurus were martyred for political and religious reasons which has nothing to do with average muslims. Sikhs also fought aginst hindu kings and oppossed wrong practices of brahmins, should we hate hindus too? Sikhs fight for the sake of justice not against any religion. There have been many positive muslim figures in sikh history such as Baba Fareed, Mian Mir, Pir Buddhu Shah, etc. with muslims fighting from Gurus' sides.
