Page 165 Krishna under God- Gauri Mahala 4- ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਆਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਵੈ ॥ Service to the Guru is pleasing to the Lord Himself. ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨੁ ਬਲਭਦ੍ਰੁ ਗੁਰ ਪਗ ਲਗਿ ਧਿਆਵੈ ॥ Even Krishna and Balbhadar meditated on the Lord, falling at the Guru's Feet. ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਤਰਾਵੈ ॥੪॥੫॥੪੩॥ O Nanak, the Lord Himself saves the Gurmukhs. ||4||5||43|| Page 338 Thakur playing as Krishna- Gauri Kabeer ji- ਆਸ ਪਾਸ ਘਨ ਤੁਰਸੀ ਕਾ ਬਿਰਵਾ ਮਾਝ ਬਨਾ ਰਸਿ ਗਾਊਂ ਰੇ ॥ All around, there are thick bushes of sweet basil, and there in the midst of the forest, the Lord is singing with joy. ਉਆ ਕਾ ਸਰੂਪੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਮੋਹੀ ਗੁਆਰਨਿ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਛੋਡਿ ਨ ਆਉ ਨ ਜਾਹੂ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ Beholding His wondrous beauty, the milk-maid was entranced, and said, “Please don’t leave me; please don’t come and go!”||1|| ਤੋਹਿ ਚਰਨ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗੋ ਸਾਰਿੰਗਧਰ ॥ My mind is attached to Your Feet, O Archer of the Universe; ਸੋ ਮਿਲੈ ਜੋ ਬਡਭਾਗੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ he alone meets You, who is blessed by great good fortune. ||1||Pause|| ਬਿੰਦ੍ਰਾਬਨ ਮਨ ਹਰਨ ਮਨੋਹਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਚਰਾਵਤ ਗਾਊ ਰੇ ॥ In Vrindavan, where Krishna grazes his cows, he entices and fascinates my mind. ਜਾ ਕਾ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਤੁਹੀ ਸਾਰਿੰਗਧਰ ਮੋਹਿ ਕਬੀਰਾ ਨਾਊ ਰੇ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੫॥੬੬॥ You are my Lord Master, the Archer of the Universe; my name is Kabir. ||2||2||15||66|| Page 338 Thakur never born- Gauri Kabeer ji- ਲਖ ਚਉਰਾਸੀਹ ਜੀਅ ਜੋਨਿ ਮਹਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਤ ਨੰਦੁ ਬਹੁ ਥਾਕੋ ਰੇ ॥ Wandering through 8.4 million incarnations, Krishna's father Nand was totally exhausted. ਭਗਤਿ ਹੇਤਿ ਅਵਤਾਰੁ ਲੀਓ ਹੈ ਭਾਗੁ ਬਡੋ ਬਪੁਰਾ ਕੋ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ Because of his devotion, Krishna was incarnated in his home; how great was the good fortune of this poor man! ||1|| ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਜੁ ਕਹਤ ਹਉ ਨੰਦ ਕੋ ਨੰਦਨੁ ਨੰਦ ਸੁ ਨੰਦਨੁ ਕਾ ਕੋ ਰੇ ॥ You say that Krishna was Nand's son, but whose son was Nand himself? ਧਰਨਿ ਅਕਾਸੁ ਦਸੋ ਦਿਸ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਬ ਇਹੁ ਨੰਦੁ ਕਹਾ ਥੋ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ When there was no earth or ether or the ten directions, where was this Nand then? ||1||Pause|| ਸੰਕਟਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਰੈ ਜੋਨਿ ਨਹੀ ਆਵੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਰੇ ॥ He does not fall into misfortune, and He does not take birth; His Name is the Immaculate Lord. ਕਬੀਰ ਕੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਐਸੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਾਈ ਨ ਬਾਪੋ ਰੇ ॥੨॥੧੯॥੭੦॥ Kabeer's Lord is such a Lord and Master, who has no mother or father. ||2||19||70|| Page 469 One Lord- Asa Mahala 2- ਏਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨੰ ਸਰਬ ਦੇਵਾ ਦੇਵ ਦੇਵਾ ਤ ਆਤਮਾ ॥ The One Lord Krishna is the Divine Lord of all; He is the Divinity of the individual soul. ਆਤਮਾ ਬਾਸੁਦੇਵਸ੍ਯ੍ਯਿ ਜੇ ਕੋ ਜਾਣੈ ਭੇਉ ॥ One who understands the mystery of all-pervading Lord; ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਦਾਸੁ ਹੈ ਸੋਈ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਦੇਉ ॥੪॥ Nanak is a slave to him; he himself is the Immaculate Divine Lord. ||4|| Page 903 Qazi- Ramkali Mahala 1- ਕਲਿ ਕਲਵਾਲੀ ਸਰਾ ਨਿਬੇੜੀ ਕਾਜੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਹੋਆ ॥ In this turbulent age of Kali Yuga, Muslim law decides the cases, and the blue-robed Qazi is the judge. Page 1167 Krishna as Muslim saint- Bhairao Namdayv ji- ਆਉ ਕਲੰਦਰ ਕੇਸਵਾ ॥ Come, O Lord of beautiful hair, ਕਰਿ ਅਬਦਾਲੀ ਭੇਸਵਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ wearing the robes of a Sufi Saint. ||Pause|| ਜਿਨਿ ਆਕਾਸ ਕੁਲਹ ਸਿਰਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਕਉਸੈ ਸਪਤ ਪਯਾਲਾ ॥ Your cap is the realm of the Akashic ethers; the seven nether worlds are Your sandals. ਚਮਰ ਪੋਸ ਕਾ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਬਨੇ ਗੁਪਾਲਾ ॥੧॥ The body covered with skin is Your temple; You are so beautiful, O Lord of the World. ||1|| ਛਪਨ ਕੋਟਿ ਕਾ ਪੇਹਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੋਲਹ ਸਹਸ ਇਜਾਰਾ ॥ The fifty-six million clouds are Your gowns, the 16,000 milkmaids are your skirts. ਭਾਰ ਅਠਾਰਹ ਮੁਦਗਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਹਨਕ ਸਭ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥੨॥ The eighteen loads of vegetation is Your stick, and all the world is Your plate. ||2|| ਦੇਹੀ ਮਹਜਿਦਿ ਮਨੁ ਮਉਲਾਨਾ ਸਹਜ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਗੁਜਾਰੈ ॥ The human body is the mosque, and the mind is the priest, who peacefully leads the prayer. ਬੀਬੀ ਕਉਲਾ ਸਉ ਕਾਇਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਆਕਾਰੈ ॥੩॥ You are married to Maya, O Formless Lord, and so You have taken form. ||3|| ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਤਾਲ ਛਿਨਾਏ ਕਿਹ ਪਹਿ ਕਰਉ ਪੁਕਾਰਾ ॥ Performing devotional worship services to You, my cymbals were taken away; unto whom should I complain? ਨਾਮੇ ਕਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਫਿਰੇ ਸਗਲ ਬੇਦੇਸਵਾ ॥੪॥੧॥ Namdev’s Lord and Master, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, wanders everywhere; He has no specific home. ||4||1|| Page 1353 One Lord- Salok Sahiskriti Mahala 1- ਏਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ੍ਨੰ ਤ ਸਰਬ ਦੇਵਾ ਦੇਵ ਦੇਵਾ ਤ ਆਤਮਹ ॥ The One Lord is the Divinity of all divinities and he is the Divinity of the soul; ਆਤਮੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਸ੍ਵਦੇਵਸੵ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਨਸਿ ਭੇਵ ॥ if any one knows the mystery of the soul and the Omnipresent Lord. ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਦਾਸੁ ਹੈ ਸੋਈ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ॥੪॥ Nanak is the slave of that one who knows the Secrets of the soul and the Supreme Lord God. He is the Divine Immaculate Lord Himself. ||4|| Page 1359 Neti Neti- Salok Sahiskriti Mahala 5- ਨ ਸੰਖੰ ਨ ਚਕ੍ਰੰ ਨ ਗਦਾ ਨ ਸਿਆਮੰ ॥ God has no conch-shell, no religious mark, no paraphernalia; he does not have blue skin. ਅਸ੍ਚਰਜ ਰੂਪੰ ਰਹੰਤ ਜਨਮੰ ॥ His Form is Wondrous and Amazing. He is beyond incarnation. ਨੇਤ ਨੇਤ ਕਥੰਤਿ ਬੇਦਾ ॥ The Vedas say that He is not this, and not that. ਊਚ ਮੂਚ ਅਪਾਰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਹ ॥ The Lord of the Universe is Lofty and High, Great and Infinite. ਬਸੰਤਿ ਸਾਧ ਰਿਦਯੰ ਅਚੁਤ ਬੁਝੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਡਭਾਗੀਅਹ ॥੫੭॥ The Imperishable Lord abides in the hearts of the Holy. He is understood, O Nanak, by those who are very fortunate. ||57||
