Page 1323- Kaliaan Mahala 4- ਕਾਸਟ ਮਹਿ ਜਿਉ ਹੈ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੁ ਮਥਿ ਸੰਜਮਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਕਢੀਜੈ ॥ The potential energy of fire is within the wood; it is released if you know how to rub it and generate friction. ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਬਾਈ ਤਤੁ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਲਈਜੈ ॥੧॥ In just the same way, the Lord’s Name is the Light within all; the Essence is extracted by following the Guru’s Teachings. ||1||
